Keen Ridgeline are durable, eye-catching and comfortable
multi-purpose shoes which can be used for urban walk, track
run and gym workouts. The upper is made from mesh along with
leather which offers air pass to keep the foot fresh and keep
the shoe lightweight. It also features protection to the foot
from trail and rocks with plate which is Flex TPU and it is
stone bruising. The EVA footbed is well cushioned to provide
best comfort and the heel has S3 system which provides
stability, support and avoids shocks to ensure superb ride. To
avoid bunching, the laces system is asymmetrical. The lugs are
3mm high on all direction to ensure best traction on all
surfaces. It weighs 10 ounces.
Not delighted to have this
shoe. I like Keen and own several pairs of it, but this one is
not what I was expected it to be. The laces of the shoe were
too tight and I had to replace these. Secondly the grommet
came off as I was doing it and that made me really angry. The
angled lacing scheme looks really very cute and attractive at
the same time, but it doesn’t make up for easy or comfy
lace-up. I think this shoe is a big disappointment as a trail
running shoe which is how it is described and which is why I
decided to buy it. This shoe doesn’t stay securely on my feet
on difficult terrain. I wonder who to blame for it???? Though
the shoe overall is not that uncomfortable, but due to the
gormment I will definitely return these and still deciding
that I should stick to this brand or switch to Merrell. They
are light weight which is a good part, but at the same time
the lacing system takes a lot of time for me to wear it and it
has many other flaws too which I have mentioned above. Though
Keen is my favorite brand and the most trust worthy one, but
this shoe doesn’t seem to be a Keen production.
