Keen Oregon PCT is a strong, durable and super comfortable
hiking boot which will take you to the next level. Its upper
is made from synthetic which is high-abrasion, the webbing of
mesh and leather which all combine to make it strong. The
KEEN.DRY™ features textile membrane which is waterproof and it
allows breathability to keep the foot healthy. The heel has
EVA and cork inserts which is eco-friendly. It also has KEEN
Key-Tech™ interlocking system in which the TPU stability plate
runs in full length of the shoe to make it strong and stable.
The forefoot has the torsion bars which provide the
flexibility of the plate. For fast and perfect fit, it has
Speed Lacing Hooks. The webbing strap locks down the heel. The
midsole has dual density which provides comfort and support.
The outsole is made from rubber with carbon and it is
non-marking with 4mm high lug on multi-directions for ultimate
traction and comfortable ride. Its shaft is 5 inches high with
14 inches of circumference and it weighs 28 ounces as per size
9.
I think it is the best hiking
shoe I have ever purchased! I bought this pair of boot for
about 4 months before in preparation for my climb of
Kilimanjaro in December. I read many read many reviews and
articles related to this boot which say that this does not
need any break in time, but still I wanted to give it a try. I
wore these around home to test the comfort level and also the
break in thing and YES!! The reviewers were right. It doesn’t
require any break in time. I felt comfortable right out of the
box as I slipped my feet inside this one. I finished my 7 day
climbs in these and had a lovely time. The wider toe area at
the front is the best feature of this boot. My feet were in
comfort and ease throughout in these. I descended the mountain
and had a lovely time with these fabulous boots. I recommend
my friend to have these boots on a hiking trip in Alaska. He
said that he wore these every day, for approximately 5 to 6
days through slippery terrain. Also carried a light pack and
this boot held up wonderfully. These boots were extremely
comfy and my feet stayed dry and provided nice support and
traction. These boots have done every thing I could ever ask
for. I must say that this boot is a blessing for all the
Hikers!!!
