Keen Madrid Mary Jane are cute, lightweight and attractive
Mary Jane style shoes with lots of comfort and durability
along with a touch of modern styling. These are ideal casual
shoes and will fit with every outfit you choose. Its upper is
made from man-made mesh and has swirling detailing on the top
along with hook-and-loop closure for personalized fit. The
outsole is made from gum rubber which is natural and
non-marking for best comfort throughout the day. It weighs 7
ounces as per size 7.
This Mary Jane has served me
very well. I have purchased this shoe to walk around in
Thailand and have found that its 80 degree average climate I
have always preferred flip flop for the casual outing, but I
must say that this is a great walking shoe for long walks and
a for longer trips. I wore it when ever I went out and I also
wore is around the rain forest, though I would not recommend
you to wear it for this purpose as the feet are exposed to the
outside environment. These shoes are really perfect for the
city exploring. They were very comfortable through out my
trip, but one thing that I didn’t like about this shoe was
that my feet got overly sweaty and when at the end of the day
I took them off, my feet really smell bad which was annoying.
May be with socks it won’t happen. Still I think that it is a
great summer and spring sandal and you can wear it for years
and years. It a nice vacation shoe and look really cute with
socks, skirts and pants too. Many of my friends have praised
it so they must look nice. They require no breaking in time
which I really liked, but they don’t provide a very good arch
support which makes standing for long difficult, but I can
walk in these for as long as I want. Overall it is not a
perfect package; they have a little draw backs, but still work
nice enough to wear these in future.
