Keen Barcelona Mary Jane is classic Mary Jane with touch of
new styling. It’s comfortable and eye-catching and ready to be
used daily. Its upper is made from suede which gives it
softness and has strap on the top along with gores for perfect
fit. The EVA footbed is Metatomical and it is wrapped with
leather which enables great comfort. KEEN® Patented Toe
Protection system provides best protection to the toe. The
outsole is made from rubber with carbon and it is non-marking
and inspired from crepe to provide easy ride with traction. It
weighs 9.5 ounces.
This is a rough beginning to a
beautiful friendship. When I first received this shoe, I was
going for a vacation. I have an excellent luck with Keens, so
I wore these and walked for about 8 hours the first day and
the result???? Terrible blisters all over my feet and also hot
spots too. I felt so betrayed and defeated that I didn’t wear
it again during the vacation. Anyways after coming back from
vacations, I gave this shoe another chance after coming back
from vacation and then I was not that disappointed. My feet
and the shoes adjusted nicely to each other and they stretched
too and soon became my go to shoes for fall. Now I wear these
with many of my dresses as I have broken them in and can wear
it comfortably. I gave this shoe a chance for broken in and
now after a few months I find them a big bigger than my feet,
however the comfort is great now. Keen also needs to add a
better insole. My other entire Keen never needed any break in
time, but this does require it. I am using my own insoles for
this shoe.
